Chuck Hagel for President?

Gag. Oh yeah, he's coming out against the escalation. Great. But have you taken a look at his voting record? From a commenter over at The Huffington Post.

He would never get yours OR mine, we look at things like voting records and we can be happy to find a point to agree on without crowning the guy emperor.

Can we safely say the same of the 50 million citizens who voted for Bush?

If he makes a run, dems need to hit him and hit him hard. No lies or innuendo just expose him as you've done here and not allow him to skirt showing his true stances on issues.

Even that may not be enough.

The upside to this is that should he run as an independant, assuming he cannot baffle the majority with bravado and BS, he would split the right-wing vote quite nicely. Helping out for an easier democratic win.
