Oh no, the NYT isn't in the tank for way!

Here is what the New York Times headline was for Hillary Clinton's blowout victory tonight in West Virginia.

The article goes on to say:

The number of white Democratic voters who said that race had influenced their choices on Tuesday was among the highest recorded in voter surveys in the nomination fight. Two in 10 white West Virginia voters said race was an important factor in their votes.

More than 8 in 10 backed Mrs. Clinton, according to surveys of voters leaving
the polls.

Interesting...This is the first time I've seen white voters singled out when reporting poll results asking if race was an important factor in their votes. But you know, maybe it did. Maybe they are sick and tired of being called racists for supporting Hillary.

Getting back to the headline treatment of tonight's primary victor...

One should be able to assume that the New York Times being the fair arbiter of Democratic Primaries certainly had similar headlines pissing all over Obama's wins when he won a primary due to heavy support by Blacks. Right? Right?

Not so much. From the NYT Archives:

And you think Hillary supporters are paranoid for thinking the media is in the tank for Obama?

Edited at 8:32 to update. Looks like the NYTimes must've gotten some complaints. They've changed the headline. The article is the same, but they've backpedaled.
